# Quick start

> Connect your first website and start tracking SEO data in under 5 minutes.

This guide walks you through connecting your first website and getting your dashboard populated with live data. The entire setup takes under 5 minutes.

  Real-time metrics — including crawl status and any newly detected issues — appear in your dashboard immediately after setup. Full historical ranking and traffic data can take **24–72 hours** to populate as Visen.io pulls it from your connected integrations.

  <Step title="Create your account">
    Go to [visen.io/register](https://visen.io/register) and sign up with your email address or Google account.

    The **Starter plan** is free and does not require a credit card. If you need team collaboration, extended history, or advanced AI features, you can select **Pro** or **Enterprise** at signup or upgrade later from your account settings.

  <Step title="Add your first website">
    After signing in, click **Add website** on the dashboard home screen.

    Enter your website's domain name (for example, `example.com`) and give it a display name to identify it in your portfolio view. Visen.io supports any publicly accessible domain — no special server access is required.

      You can track unlimited websites on every plan. Add all of your sites now or come back and add more at any time.

  <Step title="Connect Google Search Console">
    Connecting Google Search Console is required to pull ranking data, impressions, clicks, and keyword performance into Visen.io.

    Click **Connect Google Search Console** and sign in with the Google account that has access to your property. Visen.io will list all verified properties in that account — select the one that matches the website you just added.

      Your Google account must have **Owner** or **Full User** access to the Search Console property. If you do not have access, ask your site administrator to grant it before continuing.

  <Step title="Connect Google Analytics (optional)">
    Connecting Google Analytics adds session data, traffic sources, conversion metrics, and audience insights to your Visen.io dashboard alongside your SEO data.

    Click **Connect Google Analytics** and sign in with the Google account that has access to your GA4 property. Select the property that corresponds to your website.

    If you skip this step now, you can connect Google Analytics at any time from **Settings → Integrations**.

  <Step title="View your dashboard">
    Once your integrations are connected, Visen.io redirects you to your website dashboard.

    You will see:

    * **SEO health score** — an overall rating based on technical audit results
    * **Top keywords** — your highest-traffic and highest-impression queries from Search Console
    * **Ranking changes** — keywords that moved up or down since the last tracked period
    * **Open issues** — technical problems detected during the initial site crawl
    * **AI recommendations** — prioritized actions ranked by estimated SEO impact

    Historical charts populate within 24–72 hours. In the meantime, the **Issues** and **AI recommendations** tabs are fully available and based on the initial audit Visen.io runs immediately after setup.
