Rank tracking in Visen.io gives you a continuous, accurate picture of where your pages rank for the keywords that matter. You can track unlimited keywords on all plans, monitor across multiple locations and devices, and receive alerts the moment rankings shift.

Start tracking keywords

Open Rank Tracking for your site

From the dashboard, click Rank Tracking on the site card, or navigate to Rank Tracking in the left sidebar and select your site.

Add keywords

Click Add keywords. Enter one keyword per line, or paste a comma-separated list. You can add as many keywords as you need — there is no limit.

Configure tracking settings

For each keyword group, set:
  • Location — country, region, or city
  • Device — desktop, mobile, or tablet
  • Search engine — Google, Bing, or both
You can create multiple configurations for the same keyword to track it across different locations or devices simultaneously.

Save and start tracking

Click Start tracking. Visen.io begins monitoring positions immediately. Your first data points appear within a few hours, and daily updates run automatically from that point on.

Viewing ranking data

The rank tracking view shows your current position, the previous position, and the change over time for each keyword. Use the column headers to sort by position, change, or search volume. Click any keyword to open its trend chart. The chart shows daily position history for the date range you select. You can overlay multiple keywords on the same chart to compare movements, and export the data as CSV.

SERP position monitoring

For each tracked keyword, Visen.io records not just your position but the full SERP layout — including featured snippets, local packs, and People Also Ask boxes. This lets you understand whether a position change reflects a rank shift or a change in the SERP format.

Ranking alerts

Set up alerts to get notified when a keyword moves significantly.
  1. In Rank Tracking, click Alert settings (or open the alerts panel from the keyword row).
  2. Set the condition: position drops below a number, rises above a number, or changes by more than N positions.
  3. Choose your notification channels: email, in-dashboard, or both.
  4. Click Save.
Alerts fire as soon as the daily ranking update detects a change that matches your condition.
