Automated reporting is available on Pro and Enterprise plans. Starter plan users can view all data directly in the dashboard but cannot generate or export reports.
What reports include
Every automated report can include any combination of the following data:- Rankings — keyword position tracking across all monitored sites
- Traffic data — organic sessions, clicks, and impressions over time
- Keyword performance — search volume, difficulty, and ranking movement
- Competitor analysis — side-by-side visibility and keyword gap data
- Backlinks — new, lost, and total referring domain counts
- Custom metrics — any saved metric or segment from your dashboard
Generate your first report
Open the Reports section
In the left sidebar, click Reports. If this is your first report, you’ll see an empty state with a New Report button.
Select sites and date range
Choose one or more sites from the site picker. Then set the date range using the calendar — pick a preset (last 7 days, last 30 days, last quarter) or enter custom dates.
Choose your metrics
Select the data sections you want to include. Toggle on or off: Rankings, Traffic, Keywords, Competitors, Backlinks, and any custom metrics you’ve saved. Drag sections to reorder them in the final report.
Report formats
A static, print-ready document. Best for sending to clients or stakeholders who need an offline copy.
HTML
A self-contained web page. Easy to attach to emails or host on your own server.
Interactive dashboard
A live Visen.io view with filterable charts and drilldowns. Best for internal review or sharing with technically engaged clients.
Save report views for reuse
Once you’ve configured a report — sites, date range, metrics, and layout — you can save that configuration as a named view.- After configuring your report, click Save View in the top-right of the report builder.
- Give the view a name (for example, “Monthly Client Summary” or “Competitor Snapshot”).
- The saved view appears in your Reports list. Click it any time to regenerate the report with updated data.
